นายธนพล กิจเลิศไพโรจน์ ผู้บริหารสายการตลาด บริษัท ดรีมทอย จำกัด กล่าวถึงรายละเอียดการจัดงาน กันพลา เอ็กซ์โป ไทยแลนด์ 2019 ปีนี้ว่า “งาน สยามพารากอน พรีเซนท์ส กันพลา เอ็กซ์โป ไทยแลนด์ 2019 ถือเป็นงานใหญ่ประจำปีของดรีมทอย ซึ่งได้จัดต่อเนื่องจนถึงปัจจุบัน ในครั้งนี้เป็นปีที่ 8 และเป็นการฉลองครบรอบ 40 ปี กันดั้ม อีกด้วย โดยเฉพาะในปีนี้เราได้นำ GIANT MODEL RX-78-2 GUNDAM (LAST SHOOTING) สูงกว่า 5 เมตร ซึ่งถือเป็นไฮไลท์และแลนด์มาร์คสำคัญของงาน รวมถึงโมเดล MEGA SIZE GUNDAM UNICORN ซึ่งผ่านการ Modify มาทั้งหมด 40 แบบ เพื่อเป็นการฉลองครบรอบ 40 ปี กั้นดั้ม ซึ่งจะดึงดูดให้ผู้ที่เป็นแฟนกันพลา-กันดั้ม และลูกค้าทั่วไปได้เข้ามาชมงานของเราเป็นอย่างยิ่ง โดยคอนเซปต์ ของงานปีนี้ เราได้จำลองภาพต่าง ๆ ให้ออกมาในธีมโรงต่อกันดั้ม ซึ่งจะมีความแตกต่างไปจากปีก่อนๆ และไฮไลท์สำคัญที่แฟนๆ พลาดไม่ได้คือ ท่านจะได้พบกับMG 1/100 GUNDAM BARBATOS สินค้า item ใหม่ล่าสุดที่จะออกวางจำหน่ายในเดือนธันวาคมนี้ โดยได้นำมาแสดงให้ชมเป็นที่แรกในประเทศไทยภายในงานอีเว้นท์นี้เท่านั้น
นอกจากไฮไลท์ที่กล่าวมาในข้างต้นแล้ว ยังมีกิจกรรมที่เหล่าโมเดลเลอร์รอคอยกันมาทุกปีก็คือ การแข่งขัน GUNPLA BUILDERS WORLD CUP 2019 หรือ GBWC 2019 ซึ่งเป็นการแข่งขันเพื่อค้นหาตัวแทนประเทศไทยไปเข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน GBWC2019 ณ กรุงโตเกียว ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งการแข่งขันนี้ตัวแทนประเทศไทยเคยประสบความสำเร็จได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศจากการแข่งขัน และเป็นแชมป์โลก GBWC 2015 ซึ่งเป็นคนไทยคนแรกที่ได้รับรางวัลนี้ และท่านจะได้พบกับการสาธิตการ Modify Gunpla โดย มิสเตอร์ คัทสุมิ คาวากุชิ บิดาแห่ง Gunpla Master Grade กรรมการผู้ตัดสินผลงานการแข่งขัน ซึ่งจะมาสาธิตการ Modify Gunpla ในวันเสาร์ที่ 19 ตุลาคม 2562 ด้วย

Organizing the greatest event of the year called “The 8th SIAM PARAGON presents GUNPLA EXPO THAILAND 2019”, the ultimate GUNPLA, World-Class Model from Japan, meet RX-78 Gundam (last shooting),5 meters high, spectacular with more than 200 kinds of Model Kit and the official launch of Gundam Build Divers Re: Rise in Thailand.

There is one activity that all modelers are waiting for, ”GUNPLA BUILDERS WORLD CUP 2019 or GBWC 2019” , the competition to find Thailand representatives to join the GBWC2019 competition in Tokyo, Japan. 4 years ago, Thai modeler had won this competition as a first Thai winner who received the GBWC 2015 World Champion award. You will also experience the GUNPLA Modify by Mr. Katsumi Kawaguchi, the greatest master of GUNPLA Master Grade, and one of our judges who will show the demonstration of GUNPLA Modify on Saturday, 19th October 2019.
As for the new arrival and limited edition products of this year’s event, we are officially launching GUNPLA Build Divers Re:Rise for a very first time in Thailand. Gundam Build Divers Re:Rise is a sequel of Gundam Build Divers, will be on air in Japan, on 10th October 2019. For limited items, there are more than 10 different unique designs for collector to choose.
