The Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. (TPC), the state-owned enterprise under the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and operator of Thailand Privilege Card or Thailand Elite Card membership, has revealed the business performance in the first half of 2017 reporting that the sales revenue has exceeded 16.5% ahead of the expectation while generating revenue more than 47% compared over the same period of last year.

 

            The state-owned enterprise is optimistic that the recent mutual agreement between Henley and Partner Holdings Co as sales representative expanding more 21 sales offices globally will hit the achievement of the great outcome after the second half as well as the first half has done successfully.

            When combined with more 21 sales offices, Thailand Privilege Card will be stronger in terms of attracting international investors and elite international tourists in the long run with 49 sales offices globally. 

            President of Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. (TPC) Pruet Boobphakam said that Thailand Elite Card has exceeded 16.5% of total business performance in the first half by generating 233 million baht rising more than 47% year-on-year after 6 months of business operation in the fiscal year of 2017 from October 2016 to March 2017

            The company has come over more than the half way of 400 million baht as initially expected for whole year. 

            Mr.Pruet said that Thailand Elite Card has truly evolved as part of driving Thailand’s tourism industry and overall economy thanks to the service using from the card members to golf clubs, hospital, wellness and spa centre, restaurants, hotels and many more including the massive investment in buying premium residence and condominium. 

            Mr. Pruet said that the sales revenue in the first half came primarily came from the 21 sales representatives and direct sales channel and Thailand Elite Card welcomed 412 members during the past 6 months or 61% out of the total expectation of 678 members by the end of this fiscal year.Todays, Thailand Elite Card has 4,348 members.             Mr. Pruet believes that the second half achievement will be successful as Thailand Elite Card is expanding more 28 sales representatives offices globally from the support of Henley and Partner Holdings Co and finally the company will have total 49 sales representatives of Thailand Elite Card membership worldwide including the existing its own channel for direct customer. 

Mr. Pruet, however, has also revealed that there will be the marketing promotion plan such as roadshow activities through the updates of mutual marketing strategies with Henley and Partner Holdings Co.

The roadshow activities have been successfully done in Singapore, London, United Kingdom and there will be held in Japan again by the collaboration with The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and also in Geneva, Switzerland and Hong Kong with Henley and Partner Holdings Co within this year. 

 

Thailand Elite Card has aggressively projected to earn more than 1 billion baht a year in the coming years as the company recently projected to generate 200 million baht in the first year, 300 million baht in the second year and 400 million baht in the forth year.

Mr.Pruet reaffirmed that Thailand Elite Card has recently been sold to every level of international tourists without discrimination and monopoly and now there are more than 4,300 members coming from many countries such as The United Kingdom, China, The United States of America, France, Japan and Australia. 

Now Thailand Elite Card is available in 7 packages varied by the price range and privilege starting from 500,000 baht to 2 million baht covering every target groups of clients.

The target group of Thailand Elite Card clients is the middle-income and wealthy international visitors, the group of international family, the permanent residence owner who are international visitors. The groups of TPC memberships spend a lot to Thailand including the “Investment Immigration” which indirectly benefits the country’s economy.
