กรุงเทพฯ 22 พฤศจิกายน 2561 – ทรูมูฟ เอช ขอบคุณ กสทช. ที่มีมติวันนี้อนุญาตให้บริษัท ทรูมูฟ เอช ยูนิเวอร์แซล คอมมิวนิเคชั่น จำกัด ใช้คลื่นความถี่ย่าน 28 GHz เพื่อสาธิต (Demonstration) เครื่องวิทยุคมนาคม สำหรับแสดงเทคโนโลยี 5G เป็นการชั่วคราว ซึ่งจะทำให้ ทรูมูฟ เอช สามารถดำเนินการได้ทันที ทั้งการนำเข้าอุปกรณ์ 5G ที่ได้คัดเลือกไว้แล้ว และการเตรียมเปิดสาธิตให้ชาวไทยได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์การนำ 5G มาใช้ในชีวิตยุคดิจิตอลได้ที่ทรู แบรนดิ้ง ช้อป ไอคอนสยาม ขณะเดียวกัน ทรูมูฟ เอช ยังได้จัดทำหนังโฆษณาสั้นเพื่อตอกย้ำความเป็นผู้นำ 5G ของทรูมูฟ เอช และสร้างการรับรู้เรื่องเทคโนโลยี 5G ที่จะมาเปลี่ยนแปลงประเทศและชีวิตคนไทย
นายภัคพงศ์ พัฒนมาศ รองผู้อำนวยการ ธุรกิจโมบายล์ บมจ. ทรู คอร์ปอเรชั่น กล่าวว่า การได้รับใบอนุญาตให้ใช้คลื่นความถี่เพื่อการสาธิตเครื่องวิทยุโทรคมนาคมสำหรับเทคโนโลยี 5G ในวันนี้ จะทำให้ ทรูมูฟ เอช ได้เดินหน้าทดสอบการใช้งาน 5G ในรูปแบบที่แตกต่างจากเดิม โดยครั้งนี้จะเน้นการมอบประสบการณ์ตรงให้ประชาชนได้ทดลองประสบการณ์จริง ในรูปแบบการใช้งานทั้งในชีวิตประจำวันและการนำไปใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ ซึ่งแตกต่างจากที่ผ่านๆ มาที่ทรูมูฟ เอช ได้ริเริ่มเตรียมความพร้อม 5G ในด้านต่างๆ ทั้งในเรื่องการทดสอบด้านเทคโนโลยี ระบบส่งสัญญาณต้นแบบ โดยเริ่มตั้งแต่ต้นปี 2560 ที่ทีมเน็ตเวิร์คทรูมูฟ เอช ได้ทดสอบ FDD Massive MIMO 32T32R ซึ่งเป็นเทคโนโลยีที่สำคัญสำหรับ 5G และได้มีความร่วมมือกับ อีริคสัน พัฒนาและทดสอบระบบส่งสัญญาณ 5G ต้นแบบสำเร็จเป็นรายแรกในไทย โดยใช้เทคโนโลยีตัวส่งสัญญาณแบบ Massive MIMOในระบบ TDD บนย่านความถี่สูงสำหรับ 5G พร้อมรองรับโลกการสื่อสารแห่งอนาคต ตลอดจน การพัฒนาเครือข่าย 4.5G มาตรฐานโลกต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งได้รับการรับรองจากสมาคมผู้จำหน่ายโทรศัพท์เคลื่อนที่ของโลก (GSA) เป็นผู้ให้บริการที่มีสถานีฐาน 4x4 MIMO มากที่สุดในโลกมากถึง 7,000 สถานี
อีกทั้ง ทรูมูฟ เอช ยังเป็นรายแรกของโลกที่เปิดให้บริการ FDD Massive MIMO 32T32R โดยให้ใช้งานได้ในบริเวณที่มีการใช้งานหนาแน่น ได้แก่ บริเวณมหาวิทยาลัยสยาม ถนนเพชรเกษม และมหาวิทยาลัยรามคำแหง ถนนรามคำแหง และได้เปิดให้ทดสอบเทคโนโลยี LAA (Licensed Assisted Access) เป็น ครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย ซึ่งเป็นการนำคลื่นความถี่แบบ Unlicensed มาใช้งานด้วยเทคโนโลยี LTE หรือการนำ WiFi มาใช้บนเทคโนโลยี 4G เพื่อเพิ่มขีดสุดแห่งความเร็วในการส่งข้อมูล และเพิ่มแบนด์วิธให้กว้างขึ้น โดยเปิดให้ลูกค้าร่วมทดสอบที่ทรูสเฟียร์ เอ็มควอเทียร์ และเมกา บางนา

TRUEMOVE H TO DEMONSTRATE 5G TECHNOLOGY AT TRUE BRANDING SHOP ICONSIAM AFTER NBTC’S PERMISSION, UNVEILING ITS LATEST ADS SHOWING HOW 5G WILL DIGITALIZE THAI SOCIETY
Bangkok, 22 November 2018 – TrueMove H has expressed its gratitude toward the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), which today granted the permission for the company to temporarily undergo a demonstration of its 5G technology using the 28-GHz spectrums. The permission allows TrueMove H to immediately take actions by importing a set of selected 5G equipments and undergoing its 5G demonstration at True Banding Shop ICONSIAM. TrueMove H also introduced its latest commercial to reiterate its first 5G leadership and build the public’s awareness of 5G technology, which is transforming Thailand and Thai people’s living conditions.
Mr. Pakpong Pattanamas, Deputy Director for Mobile Business, True Corporation Plc, the permission received today, allowing TrueMove H to temporarily demonstrate 5G telecommunication network, will enable TrueMove H to step further to experiment different 5G deployment. The demonstration will not only focus on people’s everyday experience of 5G network, but also 5G adopting and utilization by various industrial segments. In previous trials, TrueMove H already focused on technology, beginning with the FDD Massive MIMO 32T32R test in 2017 – a crucial supporting technology for 5G development. It collaborated with global vendor Ericsson to develop and test original 5G transmission system, using Massive MIMO transmission technology in TDD system on high-frequency spectrums. It also continued to develop 4.5G network with the global standard certified by GSA and now operates 7,000 4x4 MIMO base stations - the highest number of its kind in the world.
TrueMove H is the first mobile operator in the world that provides FDD Massive MIMO 32T32R in high-traffic areas such as Siam University on Petchkasem Road and Ramkamhaeng University on Ramkamhaeng Road. It also tested LAA (Licensed Assisted Access) technology for the first time in Thailand with the use of unlicensed frequencies and LTE technology or the use of WiFi on 4G technology to optimize upload and download speeds and bandwidth at TrueSphere in Emquartier and Mega Bangna shopping malls.
