เอสซีจี อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล และ บิ๊กบล็อก เปิดตัวโรงงานร่วมทุน

ผลิตแผ่นผนังมวลเบาด้วยเทคโนโลยีสมัยใหม่ รุกตลาดก่อสร้างในอินเดีย

บริษัทเอสซีจี อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล (SCG International) จำกัด และบริษัทบิ๊กบล็อก คอนสตรัคชั่น (BigBloc Construction) จำกัด ร่วมลงทุนเปิดโรงงานแผ่นผนังมวลเบา (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Wall) ภายใต้ชื่อบริษัทสยาม ซีเมนต์ บิ๊กบล็อก คอนสตรัคชั่น เทคโนโลยี ไพรเวท ลิมิเต็ด (Siam Cement BigBloc Construction Technologies Pvt Ltd) โดยเป็นการเปิดตัวโซลูชันผนังด้วยเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยแห่งแรกในรัฐคุชราต ประเทศอินเดีย ภายใต้แบรนด์ 'ZMARTBUILD WALL by NXTBLOC' ซึ่งการร่วมลงทุนครั้งนี้มีมูลค่าประมาณ 650 ล้านรูปี (285 ล้านบาท) และมีกำลังการผลิตมากถึง 300,000 ลูกบาศก์เมตรต่อปี โดยในงานเปิดตัวได้รับเกียรติจากนางสาวภัทรัตน์ หงษ์ทอง เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำสาธารณะรัฐอินเดีย เป็นประธาน และนายบัลวันต์ซินห์ ราชปุต รัฐมนตรีกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม MSME รัฐบาลคุชราต ได้ส่งสาส์นมาร่วมแสดงความยินดี รวมถึงเจ้าหน้าที่ระดับสูงจากทั้งเอสซีจี อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล และบิ๊กบล็อก คอนสตรัคชัน เข้าร่วมงาน

ในปี 2564-2565 บิ๊กบล็อก คอนสตรัคชั่น ได้ร่วมลงทุนทางธุรกิจกับเอสซีจี อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เพื่อจัดตั้งโรงงานผลิตแผ่นผนังมวลเบา ในเขตเคดา ใกล้เมืองอาห์เมดาบัด (รัฐคุชราต) โดยบิ๊กบล็อก คอนสตรัคชั่น ถือหุ้นร้อยละ 52 ขณะที่เอสซีจี อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ถือหุ้นร้อยละ 48 นับเป็นการลงทุนครั้งแรกในประเทศอินเดียของบริษัทในเครือเอสซีจี

นายนาเรช ซาบู กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัทบิ๊กบล็อก คอนสตรัคชั่น จำกัด กล่าวว่า “การร่วมทุนครั้งนี้เป็นมากกว่าความร่วมมือทางธุรกิจ แต่ยังเป็นการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศและวัฒนธรรม โรงงานนี้ก่อตั้งและเริ่มกระบวนการผลิตในเดือนกันยายน ปี 2566 นำเสนอโซลูชันวัสดุก่อสร้างเพื่อเสริมขีดความสามารถของทั้ง 2 บริษัท พร้อมสร้างการเติบโตให้แก่อุตสาหกรรมแผ่นผนังมวลเบา รวมถึงอุตสาหกรรมก่อสร้างของอินเดียในอนาคต โดยโครงการดังกล่าวมีศักยภาพที่จะพัฒนากำลังการผลิตเป็น 500,000 ลูกบาศก์เมตรต่อปีในระยะที่ 2”

แผ่นผนังมวลเบามีคุณสมบัติเด่นในเรื่องน้ำหนักเบา กันเสียง ทนไฟ ให้คุณภาพการสร้างที่เหนือกว่า และประหยัดต้นทุนก่อสร้างมากกว่าเมื่อเทียบกับการก่ออิฐแบบวิธีเดิม อีกทั้งเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม เนื่องจากลดการใช้น้ำและลดฝุ่นจากการก่ออิฐฉาบปูน สำหรับแผ่นผนังมวลเบาที่ผลิตโดยโรงงานร่วมทุนนี้มีขนาดใหญ่หลากหลายขนาด กว้าง 8-12 ฟุต หนา 3-8 นิ้ว ตอบโจทย์ตลาดอินเดีย โรงงานแห่งนี้จะสร้างโอกาสในการจ้างงานได้ 250 ตำแหน่ง และเมื่อเต็มกำลังการผลิตของโรงงานคาดว่าจะสร้างรายได้ประมาณ 1,000 ล้านรูปีต่อปี (440 ล้านบาท) บริษัทร่วมทุนแห่งนี้ยังมีเป้าหมายแบ่งปันความรู้ด้านเทคโนโลยีและเชิงพาณิชย์ ส่งเสริมการเติบโต สร้างความร่วมมือในอุตสาหกรรมก่อสร้าง และนำวัสดุก่อสร้างยุคใหม่สู่ตลาดอินเดีย

สำหรับการดำเนินการในปี 2566-2567 บริษัทรายงานรายได้จากกิจกรรมการดำเนินงานทั้งหมดที่ 2,432 ล้านรูปี (1,067 ล้านบาท) เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 21.55 ต่อปี  EBITDA ที่ 561.5 ล้านรูปี (246 ล้านบาท) เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 12.29 ต่อปี และ PAT ที่ 306.9 ล้านรูปี (134 ล้านบาท) เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 1.83 ต่อปี

SCG International and BigBloc Start JV Operations for First Plant of AAC Wall in India Under the Brand ‘ZMARTBUILD WALL by NXTBLOC’

SIAM Cement BigBloc Construction Technologies Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between Gujarat-based BigBloc Construction Ltd and Thailand’s SCG International Corporation Co., Ltd., (SCG International) has launched its India operations with the commercial production of its first plant in Kheda, Gujarat. With the vision of launching next-generation walling solution for the Indian market, the joint venture has invested around Rs. 65 crore in setting up a 2.5 lakh cubic meter per annum capacity project including India’s first AAC Wall Plant at Kheda district near Ahmedabad (Gujarat). The AAC Wall will be marketed under the brand name ‘ZMARTBUILD WALL by NXTBLOC’. The joint venture company will also manufacture AAC Blocks. The plant was inaugurated in the august presence of H.E. Ms. Pattarat Hongtong, Ambassador of Thailand to India, a Guest of Honour, Mr. Balvantsinh Rajput, Minister Industries, MSME, Government of Gujarat, Chief Guest along with senior officials from SCG International, BigBloc Construction.   

In FY 2021-22, BigBloc Construction entered into a strategic Joint Venture with SCG International from Thailand for setting up state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for AAC Walls and AAC Blocks in Kheda District, near Ahmedabad (Gujarat). BigBloc Construction holds 52% in the joint venture company while 48% with SCG International. This is SCG Group’s first investment in India.

Construction at the plant began in September 2023, and within a year, production started, setting a remarkable record in India's AAC industry. Moving forward, SCG and BigBloc will work together on all building material solutions to strengthen the supply chain in India, leverage each other's capabilities, and provide exceptional solutions to the construction industry. With approval from both joint venture parties, the project has the potential to expand to 5 lakh cubic meter per year in the second phase.”

Green and non-toxic building construction material, AAC blocks and AAC Walls are lightweight, soundproof, and fire resistant, offer superior build quality, eco-friendly and economical too compared to traditional bricks. The joint venture plant in Kheda, Gujarat will also have India’s first AAC Wall Plant. Company will launch wide range of large format AAC Wall products of 8-12 feet of 2 feet width with thickness of 3-8 inches for the Indian markets. The plant will generate 250 employment opportunities and at full capacity the plant is expected to generate revenues of around Rs. 100 crore per annum. The joint venture also aims to share techno-commercial knowledge, promote mutual growth & cooperation in the construction industry and bring new age building materials to Indian markets.
