Oriental Princess Strengthens Commitment to Sustainable Beauty, Partners with SCGC to Develop Eco-Friendly Packaging Caps from Recycled Plastic

In collaboration with SCG Chemicals, or SCGC, a leading integrated polymer business for sustainability, Oriental Princess has developed eco-friendly packaging caps using High Quality PCR Resin (post-consumer recycled plastic resin) under the SCGC GREEN POLYMER™ brand. Certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), this material allows full traceability of raw materials and has been used to produce packaging caps for the “Rhythms of Nature” home fragrance series. These caps maintain the same color aesthetics and product standards as the originals, while maximizing resource utilization in line with the circular economy principles. The initiative drives the concept of eco-conscious beauty, transforming spaces with gentle fragrance while caring for the environment. This collaboration aligns with SCGC's ESG goal of reintroducing 500,000 tons of post-consumer plastic annually to the circular economy by 2030.

This initiative, which utilizes recycled plastics to produce High Quality PCR Resin packaging caps for Oriental Princess, covers all 14 products in the “Rhythms of Nature” Home Fragrance series. These include six SKUs of Rhythms of Nature Linen Mist (fabric fragrance), two SKUs of Rhythms of Nature Lingerie Mist, four SKUs of Rhythms of Nature Ambient Mist (room spray), one SKU of Rhythms of Nature Kitchen Mist (kitchen fragrance spray), and one SKU of Rhythms of Nature Pillow Mist.
