ตอกย้ำวิสัยทัศน์ร่วมกันในการดำเนินธุรกิจเพื่อความยั่งยืน
4 กรกฎาคม 2565, กรุงเทพฯ ประเทศไทย – บริษัท แอสเสท เวิรด์ คอร์ป จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ AWC ผู้พัฒนาอสังหาริมทรัพย์ของไทยที่มุ่งเน้นตอบสนองไลฟ์สไตล์แบบครบวงจร จับมือ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ KBank ร่วมยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมอสังหาริมทรัพย์ไทย ผ่านสินเชื่อสีเขียว (Green Loan) เพื่อนำไปพัฒนาและสนับสนุนโครงการด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในอสังหาริมทรัพย์ของ AWC โดยมุ่งเน้นโครงการที่ส่งเสริมการใช้พลังงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ รวมถึงการบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด และลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก ตอกย้ำความมุ่งมั่นของบริษัทในการดำเนินธุรกิจตามแนวทางการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน
นางสาวขัตติยา อินทรวิชัย ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ธนาคารกสิกรไทย กล่าวว่า “ธนาคารกสิกรไทยมีความเชื่อมั่นในศักยภาพการดำเนินธุรกิจของ บริษัท แอสเสท เวิรด์ คอร์ป จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ AWC ซึ่งเป็นผู้นำธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์ชั้นนำของไทย ที่มีความพร้อมในการพัฒนาโครงการ และสร้างการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน ธนาคารยินดีที่ได้ให้การสนับสนุนด้านการเงินแก่ AWC ในฐานะพันธมิตรทางธุรกิจที่มีวิสัยทัศน์เดียวกัน ในการดำเนินธุรกิจภายใต้แนวคิดการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน ทั้งเรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อม สังคม และธรรมาภิบาล โดยเฉพาะเรื่องของการรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม ลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก เพื่อสร้างสังคมสีเขียว ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่ธนาคารดำเนินการมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งในส่วนของการดำเนินงานของธนาคารเอง และการสนับสนุนลูกค้าให้เปลี่ยนผ่านสู่เป้าหมาย Net Zero ของประเทศ”
นางวัลลภา ไตรโสรัส ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารและกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท แอสเสท เวิรด์ คอร์ป จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ AWC เปิดเผยว่า “AWC มีความยินดีที่ธนาคารกสิกรไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) (KBank) ได้สนับสนุนสินเชื่อสีเขียว (Green Loan) ให้กับ AWC เพื่อนำไปใช้สำหรับโครงการด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในอสังหาริมทรัพย์ของ AWC ซึ่งช่วยส่งเสริมการบริหารจัดการด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมให้มีประสิทธิภาพสูงขึ้นอย่างยั่งยืน แสดงให้เห็นถึงวิสัยทัศน์ร่วมกันของทั้งสององค์กรที่มุ่งสร้างการเติบโตทางธุรกิจไปพร้อมกับการดูแลรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมถึงการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจชีวภาพ เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน และเศรษฐกิจสีเขียว (BCG Economy Model) ซึ่งตรงกับเป้าหมายด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมของ AWC ที่มุ่งสู่ความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน และการสร้างเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนในการดำเนินงานให้มากที่สุด สอดคล้องกับทิศทางการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจแบบยั่งยืนของประเทศไทยและหลายประเทศทั่วโลก”
ทั้งนี้ AWC มีแผนที่จะนำเงินจากสินเชื่อดังกล่าว ไปใช้ในโครงการอสังหาริมทรัพย์และโรงแรมในเครือของ AWC หลายแห่งทั่วประเทศ เพื่อเป็นฐานในการพัฒนาและยกระดับเทคโนโลยีด้านการจัดการพลังงานในอาคารให้มีประสิทธิภาพและเกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด ผ่านกรอบการดำเนินงาน BETTER PLANET ที่มุ่งทำให้โลกที่มีสภาพแวดล้อมดีขึ้น ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วยสองมิติที่ AWC ให้ความสำคัญ คือ การผลักดันให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน (carbon neutrality) และการสร้างเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) โดยมีแผนการดำเนินงาน อาทิ การริเริ่มโครงการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพของระบบปรับอากาศ การนำเครื่องทำน้ำเย็นประสิทธิภาพสูง และปั๊มความร้อนแบบประหยัดพลังงานมาใช้ในอาคาร เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ AWC ยังมุ่งมั่นดำเนินการตามมาตรฐาน LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) ซึ่งเป็นมาตรฐานการประเมินอาคารสีเขียวเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการใช้ทรัพยากรของอาคารและช่วยลดผลกระทบด้านลบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและสุขอนามัยของผู้อยู่อาศัยและผู้ใช้อาคาร และมาตรฐาน EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) ซึ่งเป็นมาตรฐานด้าน Green Building Model ในระดับสากล ที่รับรองความเป็นเลิศในการออกแบบอาคารสีเขียว เพื่อวางรากฐานแนวทางการก่อสร้างอาคารหรือการพัฒนาโครงการที่คำนึงถึงการอนุรักษ์พลังงานและสิ่งแวดล้อม อีกทั้งเป็นการยกระดับให้กับวงการอสังหาริมทรัพย์ของไทยให้เดินหน้าสู่อนาคตที่ดีและมีความยั่งยืนมากขึ้นอีกด้วย

Funding from the loan will focus on promoting the energy efficiency, resource management and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, reaffirming the company’s commitment to sustainable business.

In addition, AWC is committed to operating under a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) which is a rating system to evaluate the environmental performance of a green building, increase resource utilizing efficiency in the building and reduce the negative impact on the environment and health of the people residing in the building. The company also adheres to Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE), the international Green Building Model standard that certifies the excellence in green building design, a foundation for a building or a project development which considers energy savings and the environment.
