เปิดเวทีงานประชุมระดับนานาชาติ "AIRDC ครั้งที่ 23" อัปเดตความรู้และทิศทางอุตสาหกรรมประกันภัยทั่วโลก ก้าวทันความท้าทายในยุคดิจิทัล

          สมาคมประกันวินาศภัยไทย (TGIA) สมาคมประกันชีวิตไทย (TLAA) และบริษัท กรุงเทพประกันภัย จำกัด (มหาชน) (BKI) ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพในการจัดงานการประชุมระดับนานาชาติ Association of Insurers and Reinsurers of Developing Countries: AIRDC ครั้งที่ 23 ระหว่างวันที่ 6 - 9 ตุลาคม 2567 ณ โรงแรมอินเตอร์คอนติเนนตัล กรุงเทพฯ

          นายชัย โสภณพนิช ประธานกรรมการ บริษัท กรุงเทพประกันภัย จำกัด (มหาชน) ในฐานะรองประธาน AIRDC ประจำปี 2565-2567 และประธานคณะกรรมการอำนวยการจัดงาน กล่าวว่า การประชุม AIRDC ครั้งที่ 23 นับเป็นปีที่มีความสำคัญยิ่ง จากการที่ประเทศไทยได้รับเกียรติเป็นเจ้าภาพในการจัดงานดังกล่าวเป็นครั้งแรก ซึ่งจัดขึ้นภายใต้ธีม “Creating Opportunity Amid Challenges & Turmoil (CO-ACT)” สร้างโอกาสท่ามกลางความท้าทายในโลกปัจจุบัน โดยสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงสถานการณ์ของอุตสาหกรรมประกันภัยที่กำลังเผชิญอยู่ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความไม่แน่นอนทางเศรษฐกิจ เทคโนโลยีที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว ความเสี่ยงด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศ และการปรับเปลี่ยนของกฎระเบียบต่างๆ อย่างไรก็ตาม ความท้าทายเหล่านี้ถือเป็นโอกาสในการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมและสร้างการเติบโตได้เช่นกัน โดยมุ่งหวังว่าการประชุมในครั้งนี้จะเป็นเวทีที่เราจะได้ร่วมกันค้นหาแนวทางใหม่ๆ สร้างแรงบันดาลใจในการพัฒนายกระดับธุรกิจ รวมถึงสร้างเครือข่ายที่มีคุณค่า เพื่อพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมประกันภัยต่อไป

          โดยพิธีเปิดการประชุม AIRDC ครั้งที่ 23 ได้รับเกียรติจากนายชูฉัตร ประมูลผล เลขาธิการคณะกรรมการกำกับและส่งเสริมการประกอบธุรกิจประกันภัย (เลขาธิการ คปภ.) และ Dr. Aaron Anafure ประธาน AIRDC ร่วมเป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วย ดร.สมพร สืบถวิลกุล นายกสมาคมประกันวินาศภัยไทย และนายสาระ ล่ำซำ อุปนายกฝ่ายการตลาด สมาคมประกันชีวิตไทย ร่วมเป็นเกียรติในการเปิดงานดังกล่าว เพื่อสนับสนุนความร่วมมือของภาคอุตสาหกรรมประกันภัยในระดับสากล

          สำหรับงานประชุม AIRDC ครั้งนี้ มีหัวข้อการประชุมและสัมมนาที่น่าสนใจ ซึ่งได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิมากมายจากทั่วโลก มาร่วมแชร์ประสบการณ์และข้อมูลเชิงลึกด้านประกันภัย เพื่อเสริมสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับแนวโน้ม ความเคลื่อนไหว และประเด็นสำคัญต่างๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นในอุตสาหกรรมประกันภัย พร้อมแนะนำแนวทางและจุดประกายความคิดในการสร้างโอกาสการเติบโต ครอบคลุมทั้งธุรกิจประกันวินาศภัยและประกันชีวิต อาทิ Current State of the Cyber Insurance Market, Underwriting Challenge, and Growth Opportunity, Insurance Transformation, Next Wave of Insurance, Multi Model of Agricultural Insurance, Loyalty Management in the High-Tech, AI-Driven Insurance Era, Natural Disaster Risk Management for Uncertain Future, Create Deep Learning Solutions for Penetration and Protection Gaps for This Century, Engaging & Enlightening Experiences with IFRS17 และ ESG Insights: Navigating Sustainable Insurance Practices

          นอกจากนี้ ภายในงานยังมีการบริจาคให้แก่องค์การยูนิเซฟ ประเทศไทย (UNICEF Thailand) เป็นจำนวนเงิน 150,000 บาท เพื่อร่วมต่อยอดการดำเนินงานของยูนิเซฟในการระดมทรัพยากรขับเคลื่อนส่งเสริมสุขภาพเด็ก โภชนาการ และสุขาภิบาล พร้อมสนับสนุนด้านสิทธิและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของเด็กในประเทศไทยอีกด้วย

          ทั้งนี้ AIRDC เป็นองค์กรระหว่างประเทศที่ประกอบด้วยบริษัทประกันภัย บริษัทประกันภัยต่อ และกลุ่มประกันภัยอื่นๆ ที่รวมตัวกันเพื่อพัฒนาและขยายความร่วมมือระหว่างกันในด้านการประกันภัยและการประกันภัยต่อ ซึ่งได้มีการร่วมมือกันจัดงานประชุมระดับนานาชาติอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อเสริมสร้างความแข็งแกร่งของตลาดประกันภัยในกลุ่มประเทศกำลังพัฒนา พร้อมยกระดับความร่วมมือของอุตสาหกรรมประกันภัยระหว่างภูมิภาคให้เติบโตไปพร้อมกันอย่างยั่งยืน

The 23^rd AIRDC International Conference Launches: Updating Global Insurance Industry Trends and Knowledge to Navigate Digital Era Challenges     

            The Thai General Insurance Association (TGIA), the Thai Life Assurance Association (TLAA), and Bangkok Insurance Public Company Limited (BKI) are proud to co-host the 23^rd Conference of the Association of Insurers and Reinsurers of Developing Countries (AIRDC 2024) from October 6^th to 9^th, 2024, at the InterContinental Bangkok.

Mr. Chai Sophonpanich, Chairman of Bangkok Insurance Public Company Limited, in his capacity as Vice President of AIRDC for 2022-2024 and Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, stated that the 23^rd AIRDC conference is of great significance as Thailand has been honored to host this prestigious conference for the first time.

            This year’s theme, "Creating Opportunity Amid Challenges & Turmoil (CO-ACT)," reflects the current global insurance landscape. We face economic uncertainty, technological changes, climate risks, and shifting regulations; yet these challenges also present opportunities for innovation and growth. This conference will serve as a platform to explore these possibilities together, and we hope it will inspire innovative thinking, foster meaningful connections, and pave the way for a brighter future for the global insurance industry.

The opening ceremony of the 23^rd AIRDC conference was honored by the presence of Mr. Chuchat Pranamphon, Secretary-General of the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), and Dr. Aaron Anafure, President of AIRDC, both of whom served as co-chairs of the event. Other distinguished attendees included Dr. Somporn Suebthawilkul, President of the Thai General Insurance Association, and Mr. Sara Lamsam, Vice President for Marketing of the Thai Life Assurance Association. Their participation highlights the importance of supporting international cooperation within the insurance industry.

The conference has attracted over 350 participants, featuring a range of compelling topics, graced by distinguished speakers from around the world. These experts will share their experiences and insights in the insurance field to enhance knowledge and understanding of trends, movements, and key issues in the industry. They will also provide guidance and inspire ideas for creating growth opportunities in both the life and non-life insurance sectors. The seminar topics include Current State of the Cyber Insurance Market, Underwriting Challenge, and Growth Opportunity, Insurance Transformation, Next Wave of Insurance, Multi Model of Agricultural Insurance, Loyalty Management in the High-Tech, AI-Driven Insurance Era, Natural Disaster Risk Management for Uncertain Future, Create Deep Learning Solutions for Penetration and Protection Gaps for This Century, Engaging & Enlightening Experiences with IFRS17, and ESG Insights: Navigating Sustainable Insurance Practices.

Additionally, the event will feature a donation of 150,000 Baht to UNICEF Thailand to support the organization’s efforts in promoting child health, nutrition, sanitation, and overall well-being in Thailand.
