ธนาคารกรุงเทพ จับมือ เชลล์ ออก ‘บัตรเงินสด เชลล์-ธนาคารกรุงเทพ’ จับตลาดผู้ประกอบการไซส์เล็ก ช่วยควบคุมต้นทุนขนส่ง-กำหนดประเภทน้ำมันได้ เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพธุรกิจ เน้นใช้งานง่ายแต่ปลอดภัย ยืดหยุ่นเพราะไม่มียอดซื้อขั้นต่ำ ใบเดียวก็ซื้อได้ ทั้งยังใช้เป็นกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการตลาดได้ ตั้งเป้าคว้าผู้ใช้ออกบัตรเงินสดเชลล์-ธนาคารกรุงเทพ 55,000 ใบในปีแรก
นางสาวสุดฤทัย ทองสอง เจ้าหน้าที่บริหารระดับ Senior Vice President สายบัตรเครดิต ธนาคารกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) กล่าวว่า ธนาคารกรุงเทพ ได้ร่วมกับบริษัท เชลล์แห่งประเทศไทย จำกัด ออก บัตรเงินสดเชลล์-ธนาคารกรุงเทพ (SHELL-BBL Prepaid Card) ซึ่งเป็นบัตรเงินสดแบบพรีเพด (มีเงินอยู่ในบัตร-ไม่สามารถเติมเงินเพิ่มอีกได้) เพื่อใช้แทนเงินสดสำหรับชำระค่าเติมน้ำมันในสถานีบริการน้ำมันเชลล์ที่มีกว่า 720 สถานีทั่วประเทศ ตอบโจทย์กับธุรกิจขนาดเล็กที่ต้องใช้รถยนต์สำหรับดำเนินงาน เช่น การขนส่ง เดลิเวอรี่ หรือการออกให้บริการนอกสถานที่ เป็นต้น เพื่อให้กำหนดวงเงินการใช้จ่ายได้ตามที่ต้องการ จึงทำให้ธุรกิจบริหารต้นทุนด้านการขนส่งให้มีประสิทธิภาพเพิ่มขึ้น โดยมีบัตร 2 ประเภท ตามการใช้งาน ได้แก่
- บัตร Shell V-Power สำหรับลูกค้าที่ต้องการน้ำมันเชื้อเพลิงเกรดพรีเมียมสมรรถนะสูงสุดของเชลล์ในประเภท V-Power เท่านั้น โดยมีอายุการใช้งานบัตร 1 ปี
- บัตร Shell All Product สำหรับลูกค้าที่ใช้งานทั่วไปสามารถเติมน้ำมันเชื้อเพลิงได้ทุกประเภท ซื้อสินค้าในร้านสะดวกซื้อซีเล็ก เชลล์คาเฟ และบริการเปลี่ยนถ่ายน้ำมันเครื่อง โดยมีอายุการใช้งานบัตร 1 ปี
“ธุรกิจเอสเอ็มอีจำนวนมากต้องใช้รถยนต์เข้ามาสนับสนุนการทำงานเป็นประจำ ซึ่งบางรายอาจเลือกใช้บัตรเครดิตสำหรับองค์กร หรือ Fleet Card เข้ามาช่วยจัดการค่าใช้จ่ายเกี่ยวกับการเติมน้ำมันได้ดีอยู่แล้ว แต่ขณะเดียวกันยังมีผู้ประกอบการรายเล็กอีกจำนวนมาก ที่อาจจะยังไม่เข้าเงื่อนไขการสมัครใช้ Fleet Card ได้ ตรงนี้จึงยังเป็นช่องว่างทางการตลาดที่ธนาคารกรุงเทพ ในฐานะ “เพื่อนคู่คิด” ที่เข้าใจและพร้อมเคียงข้างผู้ประกอบการทุกกลุ่ม จึงได้ร่วมกับเชลล์ ซึ่งเป็นสถานีบริการน้ำมันชั้นนำของประเทศตั้งใจเข้ามาตอบโจทย์ตรงนี้ โดยใช้รูปแบบของบัตรแบบพรีเพดซึ่งใช้งานง่าย สะดวกและปลอดภัย ทั้งมีความยืดหยุ่นสูง เพราะไม่จำกัดจำนวนบัตรขั้นต่ำที่ต้องการซื้อ และไม่มีค่าธรรมเนียมสำหรับการซื้อบัตรมูลค่าตั้งแต่ 1,000 บาทขึ้นไป โดยธุรกิจอาจเลือกใช้บัตรนี้เป็นของขวัญสำหรับลูกค้าหรือกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการตลาดได้อีกด้วย ซึ่งจากความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้ธนาคารคาดว่าจะสามารถออกบัตรได้ 55,000 ใบ วงเงินรวม 110 ล้านบาทได้ในปีแรก” นางสาวสุดฤทัย กล่าว

Bangkok Bank joins Shell to launch the SHELL-BBL Prepaid Card, targeting small SME to help control transportation costs and specify the type of fuel to increase business efficiency. The card is easy to use, secure and flexible with no minimum purchase requirement. Additionally, it can be used for a marketing promotion activity. The Bank aims to have 55,000 SHELL-BBL Prepaid Card users in the first year.
Bangkok Bank Senior Vice President Credit Card Division Miss Sudrutai Thongsong said that Bangkok Bank joins Shell Thailand Limited to launch the SHELL-BBL Prepaid Card. This prepaid card (funds are pre-loaded and cannot be topped up) can be used in place of cash to pay for fuel at over 720 Shell service stations nationwide. It is ideal for small businesses that use vehicles for operations, such as transportation, delivery, or on-site services. This card allows businesses to control their spending limits as needed, helping them manage transportation costs more efficiently. There are two types of cards which cover different usage needs, as follows:
- Shell V-Power card is for customers who only want Shell's highest performance premium fuel in the V-Power category. The card is valid for 1 year.
- Shell All Product is for customers who fill up any type of fuel, shop at Select convenience stores, the Shell Cafe and use the oil change service. The card is valid for 1 year.
“Many SME need cars to support their work on a regular basis. Some companies currently manage the cost of refueling by using a corporate credit card or a fleet card. However, many small entrepreneurs may not be eligible to apply for a fleet card. This is a market gap, so Bangkok Bank as a "trusted partner" who understands and is ready to stand by all groups of entrepreneurs has joined with Shell, the country’s leading gas station, to serve these needs. The Bank is offering an easy-to-use, convenient, secure and highly flexible prepaid card as there is no required minimum purchase and no fee for a purchase of 1,000 baht and above. As a result of this collaboration, the Bank expects to be able to issue 55,000 cards, totaling 110 million baht in the first year,” said Miss Sudrutai.

Currently, Shell has more than 720 gas stations nationwide and 3,200 EDCs that facilitate a variety of payment methods.
