ธนาคารกรุงเทพ คว้า 2 รางวัลใหญ่

‘Website of the Year – Thailand’ และ ‘Thailand Domestic Trade Finance Bank of the Year’

นายเอียน กาย กิลลาด ผู้ช่วยผู้จัดการใหญ่ สายเทคโนโลยี (กลาง) นางปรัศนี อุยยามะพันธุ์ ผู้ช่วยผู้จัดการใหญ่ (ซ้าย) และนายวรชัย วัฒนะภราดร เจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร Vice President สายปฏิบัติการสนับสนุน (ขวา) เป็นผู้แทนธนาคารเข้ารับมอบ 2 รางวัลใหญ่ ประกอบด้วย รางวัล ‘Website of the Year – Thailand’ และ รางวัล ‘Thailand Domestic Trade Finance Bank of the Year’ จากเวทีการประกาศผลรางวัล Asian Banking & Finance Awards 2019  ซึ่งจัดโดยนิตยสาร Asian Banking & Finance ณ โรงแรม Shangri-La ประเทศสิงคโปร์ เมื่อเร็วๆนี้ โดยรางวัล ‘Website of the Year - Thailand’ ที่ได้รับเป็นผลจากความโดดเด่นในการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงเว็บไซต์ www.bangkokbank.com อย่างต่อเนื่อง ให้มีความทันสมัย สวยงาม ใช้งานง่าย ภายใต้แนวคิด ‘Speed, Simplicity and Personalization’ เพื่อเพิ่มความสะดวกและสร้างประสบการณ์ที่ดีให้แก่ลูกค้า ขณะที่รางวัล ‘Thailand Domestic Trade Finance Bank of the Year’ ซึ่งได้รับเป็นปีที่ 5 ต่อเนื่อง เป็นผลจากความสามารถในการตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ประกอบธุรกิจในยุคดิจิทัลได้เป็นอย่างดี รวมถึงได้ทดสอบการทำธุรกรรม L/C ระหว่างประเทศไทยและอินโดนีเซีย บน R3 CORDA Platform ซึ่งเป็น Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) หรือ Enterprise Blockchain Platform ของกลุ่มพันธมิตร R3 สามารถลดระยะเวลาดำเนินการและการใช้เอกสารลงได้กว่าครึ่งหนึ่ง

สำหรับรางวัล Asian Banking & Finance Award 2019 เป็นรางวัลระดับนานาชาติที่มอบให้แก่องค์กรที่สร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมที่โดดเด่น และขับเคลื่อนการเติบโตขององค์กร ท่ามกลางความเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็วของเทคโนโลยีละพฤติกรรมผู้บริโภค โดยมีคณะกรรมการตัดสินซึ่งประกอบด้วยผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการเงินและธนาคารจากองค์กรที่ปรึกษาระดับโลก

Bangkok Bank wins ‘Website of the Year-Thailand' and ‘Thailand Domestic Trade Finance Bank of the Year’ at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards 2019

Bangkok Bank Executive Vice Presidents Ian Guy Gillard (middle) and Prasanee Ouiyamaphan (left) and Vice President for Shared Operation Vorachai Wattanaparadorn (right) received the ‘Website of the Year’ and ‘Thailand Domestic Trade Finance Bank of the Year’ awards on behalf of the Bank at the Asian Banking & Finance Awards 2019 ceremony at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore. The ‘Website of the Year-Thailand' award reflected the Bank’s development of www.bangkokbank.com into a contemporarily designed, simple to use website under the concept of ‘Speed, Simplicity and Personalization’ with the aim of providing customers with greater convenience and enhanced user experience. The Bank won ‘Trade Finance Bank of the Year’ award for the fifth consecutive year, reflecting its ability to respond to the needs of entrepreneurs in the digital age. In addition, the Bank piloted a Letter of Credit (L/C) transaction between Thailand and Indonesia on R3’s CORDA Platform using Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), or Enterprise Blockchain. This new digital L/C service helps save time and reduces paperwork by more than half.

Asian Banking & Finance Award 2019 is an international award for organizations with outstanding innovations that have delivered business growth in line with rapid changes in technology and consumer behavior. The award’s panel of judges comprises banking and financial services specialists from world-class consulting organizations.
